Random Rides @ the carnival!

Funnel Cakes!!

A sign like that deserves a post of its own!

I don't know what this guy put in his funnel cake, but OH MY GOSH, it was so good!

Diana @ the Carnival

This was Diana's first real time going to a carnival and she loved every minute!
While the older kids rode the big rides, Ed and I took Diana on the smaller rides and she had a blast!
She even won "Girl Nemo" at a fishing booth!

Anthony @ the Carnival

Well Crap.

Anthony got away from me on this outing.
He's a pro at avoiding the camera!
He tells me he had a grea time though!

Christina @ the Carnival

Christina. Poor, poor Christina.
No good deed goes unpunished.

Christina was so sweet to want to take Dominick on all the rides, but she didn't take into account the fact that what a 6yr old thinks is fun, may not be in any way related to what SHE thinks is fun, BUT being the stellar big sister she is, she did whatever Dom wanted. You can see from the progression of pictures that it didn't last too long! LOL After her 7th straight spinny ride, she had to go and lie down in the back of the Suburban!

Note her expression in this picture:

Brooke @ the Carnival

Brooke had a great time too! She ventured on some of the bigger rides (well, as big as they get at a fair of this size) and tried to win the rock climb challenge (SO CLOSE!!) and of course, she helped me wolf down one of the best Funnel cakes I've ever had.

Dom @ the Carnival

Christina was nice enough to offer herself up as Dom's "chaperone" of sorts. He knew I didn't want to try any of the "spinny" rides and she was more than willing!

Dom on his roller coaster ride, he was SO into it!

The Carnival!!

Last night Ed and I loaded the kids in the Suburban and headed to the mall.
No, not for shopping, but for the annual carnival!

If you any of you remember the Dade County fair, well, it's nothing like that. LOL
I'm convinced this is the smallest carnival/fair available. BUT being small only makes it that much more enjoyable! Being a Thursday, the crowd was pretty small and it was easy to keep an eye on everyone.

I took a bunch of pictures, so enjoy!

Handwriting

Just a random post of Dom working on his handwriting.

He loves using "Elmer's Paint Pens" for this!

$15 Fun!

A few weeks ago I found this cute little pool and "slide" combo on clearance for $15.
While it's not exactly big, it has provided hours of entertainment for Dom and Di.
(They're ready for a real pool though)

Diana has already mastered her tanning style. It's ridiculous how quickly Dom and Di tan to begin with. In one day they can accomplish what takes me an entire summer !
