The Finished Product!

The kids were so pooped out by the time they finished up! (It was about 10pm!)
I have to say, I think they did a really spectacular job!!

Pumpkin Carving- The Carving.

Each of the kids looked through their books and found the templates they liked best and I took the task of transfering the image onto to each pumpkin. (Except for Diana who said all of the book's templates were too scary and wanted a "happy" pumpkin.)

Right after Brooke took the picture of me drawing, my battery pooped out, so that's all I have of the actual carving.
Dom and Brooke did almost all of their own carving save for the very fragile bits which I helped with.

Pumpkin Carving- The Gutting

Brooke, Dom and Diana all decided on doing their own, individual pumpkins this year.
I was a little hesitant that Diana would want to participate because she's usually very anti-mess, but to my surprise, she really loved it! She wasn't afraid to dig right in and rip out the "guts", and was very careful to save what she called the pumpkin's "hearts".

The kids "pulling the brain out!".

La Tortuga

Ms. Brooke.
Goofing off.
As usual.
But dang, she's cute!

Friday night Dominick tested for his "Tiger" belt. In order to receive it, he needed to perform his
Songham II and his 1-step!
He did really, reall well, and we are very proud of him!

Dom performing a kick during testing, hard to see because a classmate was turned around. LOL

The Wild Rumpus!

Where the wild things are? In Mimi & Papa's basement. And poor, poor Karlie got wrangled into it somehow!

And let me tell you, Dom and Di wore her out! She was brave enough to tackle the job of wrestling them, and wrestle they did!

Diana's Gift from Mimi and Papa Odom!

We couldn't have a celebration without Diana's beloved Lilly! And what better way to celebrate Diana's 4th birthday (And Lilly's second) than giving Lilly a whole new ensemble?

Mom and Dad, Di just LOVED her new outfit and she's already counting down the day until Halloween when they'll both be wearing their cheerleader costumes! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Diana's Birthday Celebration!

For Diana's 4th birthday, we headed over to North Carolina to spend the weekend with Ed's parents. Grandpa Fiore made his special rotisserie chicken that the kids love and they hosted a wonderful party for Ms. Diana. Ed's brother, Dan, and his family were even able to join in! It was really a great night! Diana got some wonderdul gifts and all of the kids enjoyed seeing their cousins!

Diana made it a point to tell everyone "This isn't my real birthday, this is only a celebration". (Her birthday wasn't until this past Monday).

Dog Gone Fun!

Ah, Autumn.

It's been so nice being able to take the kids outside to play without drowning in a pool of my own sweat. The days have been really beautiful, and we've been using them to their full advantage. Dom and Diana have been having their lessons outside and during their "free time" they take the dogs out for some fun! (By bedtime they're just pooped!)

I don't think it'll be long till we banish our summer wear and break out the jeans and hoodies!
