O' Christmas Tree, O' Christmas Tree...
Anthony, Brooke and Christina decorated their own little trees this year. (Keeps them out of my hair while trying to decorate our Mammoth tree in the living room)

BLACK FRIDAY
For the first time in my whole life, I BRAVED Black Friday! We don't have a Target in Morristown and I was determined to go and cash in on some of the savings!
I found a couple of great things, but the highlight of the day was seeing Christina bombarded by 10 older women fighting for the ONE cabbage patch doll Christina was holding. I was so proud, She fought them off and we walked away with the prized possession! LOL

Thanksgiving 2006
Asheville, NC
We headed to NC on Wednesday afternoon after I'd closed the store. Two adults, Five kids, two dogs and enough luggage to last a week on a cruise.
Ed and Rody were wonderful hosts (as always) to our motley crew. Thursday Dan and Kerry hosted Thanksgiving dinner at their home in Swannanoa, NC. They've just remodeled their entire home and it was simply gorgeous! Kerry and her Mom Laurel prepared a delicous spread including all the fixings.

The Little Princess Di
Yesterday, while sorting through Dom's broken toys (To send to the North Pole of course) Diana found this Cinderella costume. There is no denying she is a girly girl in training. She wore it almost all afternoon.

OLD BABIES
Yesterday Dom was watching a movie and I told him to go upstairs and get dressed. Not wanting to leave his movie he asked me why and I replied "Because we're going to go to Old Navy" He looked at me incredulously and said "WE ARE?? REALLY?? OH BOY!" And jumped off my bed and scampered upstairs. Within minutes he was back and ready to leave.
We headed off to Johnson City and stopped for lunch at Hardees. He was eating his happy meal and said "Mom, when are we picking up the babies?" Confused I asked him what he was talking about. And he said:
"Mom you said we were leaving to pick up an OLD BABY"
Laughing, I explained that NO we were not going to pick up an old baby, but rather go shopping at OLD NAVY.
He was SO upset! Needless to say he did NOT enjoy our little shopping trip.

Ed FINALLY did it!!!
He has completely stopped smoking!
He's gone almost two weeks now without a single cigarette thanks to a little pill called Chantrix!
We are all really proud of him!!!

I hate even typing this (in fear of jynxing myself) But I am only THREE pounds away from my weight loss goal of 155 pounds!
I know that is still a pretty big number, but so far I've lost almost 40 pounds and I'm higher than a hoot owl with excitement!
And it's even more rewarding because this has all been accomplished through simple will power, no tricks, no gimmicks, no crash dieting!
YAY! Keep your fingers crossed!!!

Stomach Bugs
You have not lived a full life until you have been thrown-up upon not once, not twice..but THREE times in one evening. (By different children)
It came on FAST Monday night and within a few hours, the entire family was rotating time in all the bathrooms.
I'm happy to say that this morning almost everyone is feeling about 75% better. Brooke still has a stomach ache, but she's here at the store with me and lying down!

Anthony's Costume
Attack of the GREEN thing!
Ok, Anthony LOVED this costume,
except the mask was WAY too big,
so he spent a majority of the night tripping over curbs and running into hedges...
