Brooke's Ballroom Recital

When we made the decision to homeschool
Brooke this year, one of my greatest
concerns was finding ways to keep her busy.

Ballroom seems to be the best bet and bargain.
For $5 every week she attends a 90 minute class taught by
Ms. Allison and Mr. Ed. She LOVES this class, and it's
been a huge outlet for her. It's an added bonus
that almost all of the other students are homeschooled as well!

The Ballroom class performed three dances
Tango, Waltz and Swing to various songs.

Ed and I both agreed that seeing Brooke on stage,
looking beautiful and radiating confidence was a stellar treat!
We're hoping she takes the leap and adds a few more classes next year!
(Though she's already said she won't be giving up ballroom anytime soon!)

Diana Tap Recital

Watching Diana learn to tap has been such a fun experience!
I'm not sure she knew what to expect in the beginning,
but she's definitely gotten the hang of it!

This years Pre-Tap Class danced to "ABC" by: The Jackson 5

(Of her two dances, this is the one I'm most looking forward to seeing on video!)

Diana's Ballet Recital

If you hadn't already guessed (By reading about it here and here)
Diana loves to dance!
She loved ballet so much last year that she was enrolled in
Pre-Ballet III this year and she also added a new favorite, Pre-Tap!

Her teacher this year, Ms. Heather, was just amazing!
I don't think I could possibly say enough kind things about her.
She is bubbly, talented, creative, patient, beautiful, and most importantly
(at least to Diana) She had the "most awesome-est"
job at Disney World playing Cinderella.

For this years recital, Diana's ballet class danced to
"Over the Rainbow" by: Israel Kamakawiwo'ole.
It was beautiful, adorable and absolutely perfect.
